Global environmental preservation requires broad approaches not only by manufacturers, but also by the suppliers of parts and materials. Bangopure requires all our suppliers to adapt to our Green Procurement Standards to promote environmentally friendly material purchasing.
In the year 2020, we will issue our Supply-Chain CSR Development Guidebook to expand our CSR activities among our suppliers and conduct a fact-finding survey regarding all our services and products, with the aim to promote our supply-chain-wide CSR efforts.
We design our service delivery to use eco-friendly features, that means using non-toxic products, consuming less, using things longer and making use of materials that can be locally recycled. We also aim for easier materials identification and for safer disposal of non-recyclables. Bangopure is a specialised eco-friendly service which is designed for compliance, to meet regulations more easily and prepare for future regulations and legislations.
While the use of chemicals is inevitable in the production of items required to meet the needs of society, Bangopure acknowledges the potential for many chemicals to have a harmful impact on the environment or human health if misused or mismanaged. The appropriate management of chemicals and avoidance of the use of substances that have a significant environmental impact is an important component of Bangopure’s business.
Bangopure fulfils its corporate duty to reduce environmental impact through the creation of standards and appropriate management of the storage, use and release of chemical substances used in production and purchasing, in keeping with laws and regulations.
At Bangopure, we believe our customers deserve the right to know where we stand on animal testing and what our policy is, especially in a world today that uses chemicals in most business sectors.
We would confirm that our suppliers and vendors do not carry out or commission animal tests on their products. This is because our business platform is extremely affected by two major pieces of EU regulation: REACH Regulations and Biocidal Products Directive (BPD).
Both regulations require partner companies to provide an extensive dossier of information to the appointed authority including Toxicological and Eco-Toxicological data. Which align with our organisational values, vision and mission.
Both pieces of legislation strongly promote the use of alternatives to animal testing to establish the safety of ingredients and preparations.
We would also be willing to send full PDF documents of Animal Testing policies from the companies we would partner with, upon request.
Bangopure colleagues are expected to carry out our Purchasing business correctly, understanding the variations between right and wrong, using our own discernment in selecting suppliers of materials we purchase whilst working to line up with our company values and principles.
Bangopure will work with suppliers and vendors that act in a way which is aligned to the company’s values and will always be inclined to work with suppliers of materials whose ethical and environmental policies align with our own ethics, principles and values.
We will always look to develop long-term partnerships with our suppliers and vendors which are mutually favourable and will work closely to build relations with vendors and suppliers which respect the fairness, ethical and environmental values of Bangopure.
In Purchasing, we will use the following guidelines;
